Flowers on Black for the Ink. Stamp. Share. Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop where we are showcasing projects we have been working on. If you saw my blog post on the 31^st January you will be aware that I have been enjoying playing with the fussy cut flowers and leaves from one of the sheets of Flower & Field dsp. I am using the flowers again today to make a thank you card.

To recreate the Flowers & Field card, you will need:

Basic Black – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Basic Black – 5½”” by 3⅝”
Basic White – 5½”” by 3⅝” – for the inside
Basic Black – 3½” by 2½”

I started by running the Basic Black panel through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine inside the Dainty Diamonds embossing folder. This was glued to the Basic Black card base using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

Using Versamark ink, I stamped the sentiment from the Heal Your Heart stamp set onto the small piece of Basic Black card. I covered it with White Embossing Powder and heat set it with my Heat Tool. This was then die cut using the Stitched Shapes dies and my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.

I added the die cut sentiment to the card front on Dimensionals.

Then, I arranged all the flowers and leaves – fussy cut from the gorgeous Flowers & Field dsp – around the sentiment using either liquid glue and/or Dimensionals.

To complete the card, I added a scattering of Woven Threads Sequins.

I really like the colourful flowers against the black, so vibrant. I hope you like it.
