Yuletide Church card

Today I have CASE’d my own card – see Blog Post on the 3^rd November 2024. I really liked the card but felt the that the sentiment over-powered the pretty image. I decided to make the card again. I have used the Yuletide Village stamp set and this time I have combined it with the Peaceful Seasons stamp set.

Colours used in this card are:

 

To recreate the Christmas church card, you will need:

Pool Party card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Poppy Parade card – 5⅞” by ½” x 2
Basic White card – 5⅞” by 3”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside

 

I stamped the pretty church onto the 5⅞” by 3” piece of Basic White card with Pebbled Path ink.

 

Using the following Blends Pens I coloured in the image – Pool Party, Poppy Parade, Old Olive, Pecan Pie, Gray Granite & Pebbled Path

 

The larger tree was stamped in Old Olive ink. I coloured it in using the Old Olive Blends Pens.

 

The sentiment from the Peaceful Season stamp set was stamped in Old Olive ink.

 

The strips of Poppy Parade card were glued to top and bottom of the decorated panel and the whole piece was then added to the Pool Party card front on Dimensionals.

 

A trio of Basic Gray & Smoky Slate Pearls completed the card.
