Wildflower Birthday Stamp-a-Stack – Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop where we are showcasing something we have been working on. I have chosen to share the cards I designed for my recent Stamp-a-Stack using the gorgeous Wildflower Birthday designer series paper. As always the ladies made 2 of each of the card designs.

Colours used in these cards are:

 

Card 1 – Birthday Wishes with Small Flower Cluster

Thick Basic White card bases – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Blueberry Bushel – 5½” by 3¾”
Wildflower Birthday dsp – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Basic White Stitched Circle 2½” by 2½” – die cut using Stylish Shapes Dies
Blueberry Bushel card – 3⅝” by ¾”

 

Cut a panel of Wildflower Birthday dsp 5⅜” by 3⅝” and glue to the panel of Blueberry Bushel card. Glue the whole piece to the front of the Thick Basic White card base.

Add the strip of Blueberry Bushel card across the dsp panel. Stamp the sentiment onto the die cut circle using Blueberry Bushel ink and add the circle to the card front on Dimensionals. Decorate the raised circle with a floral die cut

 

Card 2 – Flowers on a Circle

Old Olive card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic White – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Wildflower Birthday dsp – 5¼” by 3½”
Basic White die cut circle – 3” by 3” – die cut using Stylish Shapes Dies
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside

 

Cut a panel of Wildflower Birthday dsp 5¼” by 3½” and glue to the smaller Basic White layer. Glue the whole piece to the front of the Old Olive card base.

Stamp the sentiment onto the die cut circle using Blueberry Bushel ink and add to the card front with glue.

Arrange the flowers onto the die cut circle with the largest on Dimensionals

 

Card 3 – Bouquet of Flowers

Blueberry Bushel card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Basic White – 5⅝” by 3⅞”
Wildflower Birthday dsp – 5½” by 3¾”
Basic White – 2¾” by ⅜”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside

 

Cut a panel of Wildflower Birthday dap 5½” by 3¾” and glue to the larger Basic White layer.

Glue the whole piece to the front of the Blueberry Bushel card base.

Add the bouquet of flowers to the card front on Dimensionals.

Stamp the sentiment in Blueberry Bushel ink on the small strip of Basic White card and add to the card front on Dimensionals.

 

Card 4 – Cluster of Flowers

Pool Party card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic White – 5⅞” by 1¼”
Spotty strip from the sheet of tags
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside

 

Glue the strip of Basic White card across the front of the Pool Party card base.

Cut the dotty strip in half across the middle and glue a piece on either end of the white strip- it isn’t long enough to fit from side to side and no one will see the missing bit in the middle!

Stamp the sentiment in Blueberry Bushel ink onto the card front. Add the cluster of flowers on Dimensionals.

 

Card 5 – Strips of Patterned Paper Card

Thick Basic White card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Strips – 3 ¼” by 1” – some pieces from the tag sheet and some scrap dsp pieces x 5
2½” die cut stitched circle – cut using Stylish Shapes dies

 

Select 5 patterned strips, I used some from the sheet of tags, one of the tags cut in ½ and the back and a piece of dsp

Glue all the strips to the Thick Basic White card front leaving a small gap between each one.

Stamp the sentiment onto the die cut circle using Blueberry Bushel ink and add to the card front on Dimensionals

Arrange the flowers onto the die cut circle and glue down.

 

Card 6 – Banner with Balloon

Pretty in Pink card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Blueberry Bushel – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Wildflower Birthday dsp – 5¼” by 3½”
Basic White banner – die cut using Birthday Celebration Dies
Blueberry Bushel die cut string
Basic White – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside

 

Glue the Blueberry Bushel panel, offset onto the Pretty in Pink card base. Cut a panel of Wildflower Birthday dsp 5¼” by 3⅝” and add to the card base, slightly offset in the other direction.

Stamp sentiment in Blueberry Bushel ink onto the Basic White banner, by inking up one word at a time and add the banner to the card front on Dimensionals.

Add the blue banner string using tiny pieces of Dimensionals on each end and lastly add the balloon to the banner with glue.

 

Card 7 – A Trio of Cupcakes

Pool Party card bases – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Blueberry Bushel – 5⅞” by ⅜” x 2
Wildflower Birthday dsp – 5⅞” by 2¾”
Basic White stitched rectangles x 3 – die cut using the Nested Essentials Dies
Basic White – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside

Cut a panel of Wildflower Birthday dsp 5⅞” by 2¾” and glue a Blueberry Bushel strip to the top and bottom of the dsp panel. Glue the whole piece to the Pool Party card base.

Glue the cupcakes to the die cut rectangles and add the rectangles to the card front on Dimensionals, spaced as evenly as possible.

 

Card 8 – Large Birthday Cake card

Pretty In Pink card bases – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Wildflower Birthday dsp – 5¼” by 3½”
Wildflower Birthday dsp– 3¼” by 1”
Old Olive card – 4” by 2⅝”
Basic White card – 3⅞” by 2½”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Peach Pie card – 2¾” by ⅜”

 

Cut a panel of Wildflower Birthday dsp 5¼” by 3½” and glue to the smaller Basic White layer. Glue the whole piece to the front of the Pretty in Pink card base.

Cut a strip of Wildflower Birthday dsp 3¼” by 1” and glue to the card front.

Glue the cake image to the smallest piece of Basic White card and add to the Old Olive layer and mount onto the card front on Dimensionals.

Stamp the sentiment in Blueberry Bushel ink on the piece of Peach Pie card and add to the card front.

 

Card 9 – Pop Out Centre Balloon Card

Old Olive card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 1¾”, 2¾”, 5½” & 6½”
Wildflower Birthday dsp – 5¾” by 1⅝”
Wildflower Birthday dsp – 5¾”by ⅝” x 2
Basic White – die cut banners x 2
Pretty in Pink card – 2⅝” by ⅜”
Basic White card – 5¾” by 2⅝” – for the back

 

Cut a panel of Wildflower Birthday dsp 5¾” by 2⅝” and two pieces of dsp 5¾” by 1⅝”. Glue the largest Wildflower Birthday dsp panel to the pop out centre of the Old Olive card base.

Glue the 2 strips of dsp to the side panels.

Overlap 2 of the die cut banners – make sure they don’t go passed the sides of the card when it is folded flat. Glue the overlapped banners to the centre panel.

Add the cluster of balloons to the overlapping banners with glue.

Stamp the sentiment on Pretty in Pink card with Blueberry Bushel ink and glue to the card front.

Add the remaining Basic White panel to the back of the card

Card 10 – Cupcake Fun Fold card

Soft Sea Foam card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 1” and 4⅛”
Old Olive – 5⅝” by 2⅞”
Wildflower Birthday dsp – 5½” by 2¾”
Basic White – 5⅝” by 3⅞” x 2 – for the inside
Wildflower Birthday dsp – 5½” by 1¼”
Basic White – 5⅝” by ⅞”
Wildflower Birthday dsp – 5½” by ¾”
Blueberry Bushel – 3⅛” by 3⅛”
Wildflower Birthday dsp cupcake square
Pretty In Pink – 1⅞” by ⅜”

 

Cut a panel of Wildflower Birthday dsp – 5½” by 2¾” and glue it to the Old Olive layer and then to the front panel of the card.

Cut a panel of Wildflower Birthday dsp – 5½” by 1¼” and glue it to the large Basic White layer on the right-hand side. Glue the whole piece inside the card.

Cut a panel of Wildflower Birthday dsp at 5½” by ¾” and glue it to the strip of Basic White card. Glue this to the front flap of the card front.
