Five-panel Thankful Garden card

Here is a clean and simple, monochromatic card made using the Thankful Garden stamp set.

Colours in this card are:

To recreate the five-panel thankful garden card, you will need:

Thick Basic White card – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Blueberry Bushel card – 5⅜” by 3¾”
Basic White card – 5” by 3½”
Blueberry Bushel – 3¼” by 1¾”
Basic White card – 2½” by 1¼”

The large hydrangea image was stamped randomly all over the 5” by 3½” panel of Basic White card using Blueberry Bushel ink.

The panel was the cut into five 1” strips. Using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive I adhered the five strips to the larger panel of Blueberry Bushel card.

I wrapped a length of retired Blueberry Bushel ink around the decorated panel and secured it on the back with Sellotape. The whole panel was glued to the Thick Basic White card front.

From the small pieces of Blueberry Bushel and Basic White card I die cut to arches from the Everyday Arches Dies.

The sentiment, from the Attention Shoppers stamp set was stamped onto the Basic White die cut arch in Blueberry Bushel ink. The two die cut arches were then glued together and added to the card front on Dimensionals.

Thankful Garden card – Stamp ‘N Hop Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamp ‘N Hop Blog Hop where we are sharing flora/fauna themed projects.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the thankful garden card, you will need:

Fresh Freesia card base – 8¼” by 5¾” – scored at 4⅛”
Gorgeous Grape card – 5” by 3¾”
Basic White card – 4½” by 3¼”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Basic White card

I stamped the floral image in the upper left and lower right corners of the Fresh Freesia card front with Fresh Freesia ink and set it one side.

The same image was then stamped on scrap Basic White card with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

Using Blending Brushes and the Thankful Garden Masks I added Fresh Freesia ink to the flowers. The trick is to lightly add it with mask 1, a little more ink with mask 2 to layer up the colour. With mask 3 I used Gorgeous Grape ink to add the detail. The leaves were coloured with Old Olive, lightly with mask 1 and another layer with mask 2. The image was then die cut using the Thankful Garden Dies.

I die cut 2 stitched arches from the panels of Basic White and Gorgeous Grape card. The sentiment from the Best Family Ever stamp set was stamped onto the arch with Old Olive ink and the 2 were glued together and added to the card front.
