Saffron Roses for the Stamp ‘n Hop Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamp ‘n Hop Blog Hop where we are sharing projects made using some of the gorgeous designer Series Paper.

The colours used in this project are:

To recreate the saffron roses card, you will need:

Thick Very Vanilla card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛”
Fresh Freesia card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Abigail Rose dsp – 5¼” by 3½”
Smoky Slate card – 2” by 2”
Vellum – 2“by 2”
Basic Gray card – 2” by 2”

Having cut the piece of Abigail Rose dsp, I used the following Blend Pens to colour in the flowers and leaves: So Saffron, Fresh Freesia & Soft Sea Foam.

The coloured panel of dsp was then glued to the Fresh Freesia panel using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. The whole panel was added to the Thick Very Vanilla card base using the same glue.

The sentiment from the Charming Sentiments stamp set was stamped onto Basic Gray card in Versamark ink, covered in Gold Embossing Powder and heat set using a Heat Tool. I die cut the sentiment using the Sentiment Silhouette Dies.

Using the beautiful Shapes Dies I cut circles from the square of Smoky Slate card and Vellum. I added the sentiment to the Vellum circle with Seal +. This was then added onto the Smoky Slate Circle using the same adhesive.

I added a strip of Seal + to the card front and used it to secure a loop of Gold Shimmer Ribbon before adding the Sentiment over the top. A scattering of Basic Rhinestones completed the card.
