Monochromatic Wooded Acres card

Today I am sharing a pretty monochromatic card made using the Wooded Acres stamp set

 Colours in this project are:

 

To recreate the monochromatic wooded acres card, you will need:

Basic Black card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 4¾” by 3¼”
Basic Black card – 4⅜” by 2⅞”
Basic White card – 4½” by 4⅛”
Basic Black card – 2 by ⅜”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” for the inside

 

Using the Textured Notes Dies I die cut a decorated rectangle from the 4½” by 4⅛” piece of Basic White card.

I masked the edges of the die cut rectangle using Post It Notes and stamped the row of pine trees down the length of the rectangle using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

The stamped rectangle was glued to the Basic Black layer and then to the 4¾” by 3¼” piece of Basic White card. The whole piece was mounted onto the Basic Black card front on Dimensionals.

The sentiment, from the Delicate Forest stamp set was stamped in Versamark ink onto the small piece of Basic Black card. I covered it with White Embossing Powder and set it using my Heat Tool. The sentiment was then added to the card front.

A trio of Iridescent Pearls finished the card.

A pretty thank you card made using the Memorable Blooms stamp set and the Floral & Gingham Velum from Stampin' Up!

Memorable Blooms Card

Here is a pretty card made using the Memorable Blooms stamp set.

Colours in this card are:

To recreate the memorable blooms card, you will need:

Thick Basic White base – 8¼” by 5¾” – scored at 4⅛”
Old Olive card – 5½” by 3¾”
Basic White card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Floral & Gingham Vellum – 5¼” by 3½”
Basic White card – 4½” by 3¼”
Scrap Old Olive card

 

The panel of Floral & Gingham Vellum was adhered to the larger panel of Basic White card and then to the Old Olive card layer. A length of Lost Lagoon Twine was wrapped around the panel and the whole panel was then glued to the Thick Basic White card base.

Using the Textured Notes Dies, I die cut a rectangle form the 4½” by 3¼” piece of \Basic White card.

The floral image, from the Memorable Blooms stamp set was stamped onto the die cut rectangle using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I used the following Blends Pens to colour in the image – Pool Party, Granny Apple Green and Old Olive.

The coloured panel was then mounted onto the card front on Dimensionals.

Wooded Acres Card

Today I am sharing a card made using the Wooded Acres stamp set and Watercolor Pencils.

Colours used to make this card are:

 

To recreate the wooded acres card, you will need:

Boho Blue card base – 8¼” by 5¾” – scored at 4⅛”
Early Espresso card – 4⅞” by 3⅜”
Basic White card – 5” by 3½”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Basic White, Boho Blue, Old Olive and Early Espresso

 

Using the image of the line of full canopied trees I stamped along the bottom of the Boho Blue card front in Boho Blue ink.

I die cut a decorated rectangle from the 5” by 3½” panel of Basic White card using the Textured Notes Dies.

The line of trees was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto the die cut rectangle. I punched a circle from a Post It Note using a 1” Circle Punch and added it above the tree line. I masked all 4 sides of the rectangle using Post It Notes and added Boho Blue ink to the top of the panel with a Blending Brush and Mossy Meadow ink to the bottom.

The tree trunks were coloured with an Early Espresso Water-colored Pencil. I added colour to the bushes with a Garden Green Watercolor Pencil. The canopy of the trees was coloured using both the Lemon Lime Twist and Old Olive Water-coloured Pencils. The coloured panel was then glued to the Early Espresso panel. The whole piece was added to the card front on Dimensionals.

I flagged the end of ⅜” strips of Old Olive, Basic White and Early Espresso card and tucked them under the raised image.

The sentiment, from the Delicate Forest stamp set was stamped on scrap Basic White card in Boho Blue ink. I trimmed it down and added it to the card front. A trio of 2023 – 2025 In Color Glossy Dots finished the card.

A pretty flip flap fun fold card made using the Storybook Garden Patch stamp set from Stampin' Up!

Storybook card

Here is a pretty flip flap card made using the Storybook Garden Patch Dies.

 

Colours used in this card are:

 

To recreate the storybook card: you will need:

Thick Basic White card – 8¼” by 5¾” – scored at 4⅛” and with the front edge at 1” on the right of the trimmer, cut from the top down to 1¾” and from the bottom to 3⅛”. Score the remaining 1” tab at 1”
Pool Party – 5¾” by 3”
Pool Party – 5¾” by 1¼”
Basic White – 4” by 2½” – Die cut a rectangle using the Textured Notes Dies
Scrap Basic White card

 

I embossed the 2 panels of Pool Party card with the So Swirly Embossing Folder and glued the larger to the front of the card and the smaller to the right-hand side of the inside of the card.

A rectangle was die cut, using the Textured Notes dies. I added some ‘ground’ with a light Crumb Cake Blends Pen and added the die cut panel to the 1” tab on the card front.

On scrap Basic White card, I stamped the stack of pots and 3 carrots using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

The images were coloured using the following Blends – Petunia Pop and Crumb Cake for the plant pots. The carrots were coloured with the Pumpkin Pie Blends and the leaves with the Old Olive Blends pens. All of the images were then die cut using the Storybook Garden Patch Dies.

The die cut pieces were then added to the rectangle on Mini Dimensionals.

The sentiment, from the Darling Dinos stamp set was stamped in Petunia Pop ink onto scrap Basic White card. I trimmed it down, flagged the end and added it to the card front.
