A tag themed Christmas card made using the Humbe Home stamp set and Punch from Stampin' Up!

Humble Home Christmas card

Today I am sharing a sweet very merry Christmas card made using the Humble Home stamp set.

Colours used in this card are:

To recreate the humble home card, you will need:

Shy Shamrock card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Gray Granite card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Basic White card – 5¼” by 3½”
Shy Shamrock card – 4⅜” by 2¾”
Basic White card – 4⅜” by 2¾”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside

Using the Snowflake Sky embossing folder I embossed the 5¼” by 3½” piece of Basic White card. The embossed panel was glued to the Gray Granite layer and then to the front of the Shy Shamrock card front.

A card made for the Creating With Scraps Blog Hop using scraps of Winter Meadow Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up!

Striped Tree card – Creating With Scraps Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Creating With Scraps Blog Hop where we are using scraps to create our projects today. I have used scraps of the pretty Winter Meadow designer Series Paper to make my pretty striped tree card.

Colours in this card are:

To recreate the striped tree card, you will need:

Lost Lagoon card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Pretty Peacock card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Basic White card – 5¼” by 3½”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Pretty Peacock card – 2” by ⅜”

From scrap offcuts of Winter Meadow Designer series paper (dsp), I cut a number of strips ¼” or ⅜” wide.

Using the Merriest Trees Dies I die cut the largest tree from the 5¼” by 3½” panel of Basic White card. The negative piece was then embossed with the Snowflake Sky Embossing Folder.

I placed the die cut tree onto the Pretty Peacock panel and used a pencil to lightly draw around the shape. This would give me a guide when adding my strips of dsp.

Using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive I added each strip of dsp to the Pretty Peacock layer, trimming off the excess dsp as I went.

The sentiment, from the retired Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set, was stamped in Versamark ink onto the strip of Pretty Peacock card. I had masked off the bottom of the sentiment prior to inking it up as I only wanted the ‘merry christmas’.

A pretty Christmas card made using the stunning Stars At Night Dies and the Stars At Night Hybrid Embossing Folder by Stampin' Up!

Embossed Star At Night card

On my desk today is the gorgeous Stars At Night stamp set and Dies and I have used the Dies to make a pretty Chistmas card today.

Colours in this project are:

To recreate the embossed star card, you will need:

Thick Basic White card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Walk In The Forest dsp – 5⅞” by 1½”
Gold Foil – 5⅞” by ¼”
Starry Sky card – 3¾” by 2⅞”
Scrap Basic White & Gold Foil

I began by gluing the strip of Walk In The Forest dsp to the Thick Basic White card front leaving a tiny gap on the right-hand side by the fold. The strip of Gold Foil was then glued next to the dsp strip.

The largest star, from the Stars At Night Dies was die cut from scrap Basic White card and embossed at the same time with the Hybrid Stars At Night Embossing Folder.  Love that we can do this. I spritzed the star with a little Wink of Stella to give it a little shimmer.
