Hello and welcome to the Christmas Around The World Blog Hop. I have chosen to make a card using a version of pattern very popular at Christmas time in Scandinavia.
Colours used in this card are:
To recreate the Scandinavian card, you will need:
Crumb Cake card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Night of Navy card – 5¼” by 3½”
Real Red card – 5⅛” by 3⅜”
Basic White card – 5” by 3¼”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Night of Navy card
I began by stamping the triple row of dashes, from the Decorative Trees stamp set roughly across the middle of the 5” by 3¼” panel of Basic White card using Crumb Cake ink.
Next, I stamped the tree from the Reindeer Fun stamp set in Night of Navy ink above the row of dashes. The small snowflakes from the Snowy Wonder stamp set were added in Pool Party ink.
Finally, across the top of the panel I stamped the trio of baubles with Real Red ink. These came from the Decorative Trees stamp set. The images were stamped again in the reverse order using the same colours below the line of dashes.
The panel was adhered to the Real Red layer, then to the Night of Navy panel before the whole piece was mounted onto the Crumb Cake card front on Dimensionals.
The sentiment, from the Humble Home stamp set was stamped in Versamark onto a scrap of Night of Navy card, covered it with White Embossing Powder and set it with my Heat Tool. I fussy cut it out and added it to the card front.
Please hop on to share the inspiration provided by my crafty friends.
