Thank you for joining me for the Stamping INKspirations Blog Hop where our theme is ‘Thanks’. I have made a simple card using the stunning Rose Gold Glimmer paper teamed with Basic Black card stock.
To recreate the rose gold glimmer card, you will need:
Basic Black card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Basic Black card – 4⅛” by 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Rose Gold Glimmer – ¼” strip
Scrap Rose Gold Glimmer
Using the Penned Flower Dies and my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, I die cut 4 of the gorgeous detailed flower groups.
I squeezed a blob of Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive onto my Silicon craft sheet and picked the glue up with a Sponge Dauber. I dabbed the glue onto the back of the rose gold die cuts and added them to the square of Basic Black card.
I trimmed off the overhanging pieces and added them around the edges to fill in gaps.
Using a Paper Trimmer I cut the square in half on the diagonal and glued one half to the top of the Basic Black card base.
I added a strip of rose gold glimmer along the edge using the same liquid glue.
The sentiment, from the Inspired Thoughts stamp set, was stamped in Versamark ink, covered with White Embossing Powder and set using my Heat Tool.
Such a simple card but so effective.
