Rings of Love card for the Kylie Bertucci Demo Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Kylie Bertucci Demonstrator Blog Hop where we are sharing thank you cards made for our customers. I have used the gorgeous Rings of Love Designer Series Paper.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the Rings of Love thank you card, you will need:

Thick Very Vanilla card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛”
Very Vanilla card – 5⅜ by 3⅝”
Distressed Gold card – 3½” by 3½”
Rings of Love designer Series Paper (dsp)

Like many others I used to hate fussy cutting with a passion. I have however, discovered that the more you do it the easier it becomes and I spent a happy evening fussy cutting leaves and acorns from the sheets of the Rings of Love dsp.

I nested two of the Stylish Shapes Dies together and used them to die cut a circle frame from the Distressed Gold card.

The sentiment from the Cup of Tea Stamp set, was stamped onto the panel of Very Vanilla in Soft Suede ink and the distressed gold frame added on Mini Dimensionals. The overhanging edge was trimmed off.

The fussy cut leaves and acorns were then added to the left part of the die cut circle using Mini Dimensionals and a little Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

I used the left over smaller Distressed Gold circles and fussy cut dsp to create more cards.

Houses card

I am loving the Ringed With Love Designer Series Paper which is one of the items you can choose for free with a £50 order from the Sale-a-Bration Brochure and I have used it to make a thank you card featuring houses.

Colours used in this card are:

To recreate the houses card, you will need:

Thick Basic White card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛” – rounded upper left corner
Night of Navy card – 5⅜” by 3⅝” – rounded upper left corner
Ringed with Love dsp – 5¼” by 3½” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 2” by 2”

I used Multicoloured Liquid Adhesive to glue the panel of dsp to the Night of Navy layer.

A length of Parakeet Party Woven Metallic Ribbon around the panel, twice and secured in place with Sellotape.

The sentiment, from the Cup of Tea stamp set was stamped in Night of Navy ink onto the small square of Basic White. This was die cut using the Stylish Shapes dies.

The sentiment was added to the card front with Mini Glue Dots. These give a little height but won’t increase the postage.
