Hello and welcome to the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop where, this month we are showcasing accordion fun fold cards. I have made my card using the gorgeous Masterfully Made designer Series Paper and the Textured Floral stamp set.
Colours featured in this card are;
To recreate the masterfully made accordion card, you will need:
Pretty Peacock card base – 11” by 5⅞” – scored at 1¼”, 4” & 6¾”
Basic White card – 5⅝” by 4”
Basic White card – 5⅝” by 2½” x 2
Basic White card – 5⅝” by 1⅛”
Masterfully Made dsp – 5½” by 3⅞
Masterfully Made dsp – 5½” by 2 ½”
Masterfully Made dsp – 5 ½” by 1”
Lost Lagoon card – 11” by 1”
Basic White card – 2½” by 2½”
Using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive, I glued the panels of Masterfully Made designer series paper to the slightly larger layers of Basic White card.
These panels were then glued in place on the Pretty Peacock card base. I then used a Bone Folder to fold and burnish the card base.
I stamp a flower from the Textured Floral stamp set in Fresh Freesia ink onto the remaining panel of Basic White card and added leaves in Lemon Lime Twist ink. The panel was then adhered to the remaining space on the card base.
The long strip of Lost Lagoon was then folded around the closed card. I took care to keep it loose enough to slide up and down. I glued the overlapping ends together in the front and snipped off the excess card.
I punched a circle from the 2¼” square of Basic White card using the 2¼” Punch.
The large flower from the Textured Floral stamp set was stamped in 2nd generation Berry Burst ink. I added leaves in stamped off Lemon Lime Twist ink. The sentiment was added over the flower in Pretty Peacock ink.
Two Dimensionals were added to the centre of the Lost lagoon belly band and the stamped circle added.
Love this fun fold.
Please hop on to share the inspiration provided by my stamping friends.
