Three Dragonflies on a Card – Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Ink Stamp Share Blog Hop where we are sharing a project we have been working on. I have chosen to share a card made using the Happiest Day stamp set which is new to me.

Colours used in this card are:

To recreate the three dragonflies’ card, you will need:

Berry Burst card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5⅝” by 3⅞”
Full of Life dsp – 5½” by 3¾”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Basic White card

The piece of Full of Life dsp was adhered to the larger panel of Basic White card with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

I wrapped a length of Iridescent Ribbon around the panel, securing it on the back with Sellotape. The panel was then adhered to the Berry Burst card base.

From scrap Basic White card, I die cut 3 rectangles using the Perennial Postage Dies.

The outline dragonflies were stamped using Pebbled Path ink, one on each of the die cut rectangles. The dragonflies were coloured using the infill stamps and Daffodil Delight and Berry Burst inks.

I added the corner details using Berry Burst ink. The sentiment, from the Simply Said stamp set was stamped on scrap Basic White card using the same ink. I trimmed it down and added it to the card front.
