Peaceful Season Card – Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop where we are sharing projects made using dies. I have used the lovely Peaceful Seasons Dies to make my card which was inspired by a card in the September – December 2024 Mini Catalogue.

Colours in this card are:

To recreate the peaceful seasons cards, you will need:

Lost Lagoon card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Pretty Peacock card – 5¼” by 3½”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Basic White, Lost Lagoon and Season of Elegance dsp

Using the Peaceful Seasons Dies, I die cut 4 small, rounded squares – 1 from scrap Basic White card, 1 from scrap Lost Lagoon card and 2 from scrap Season of Elegance dsp.

The sentiment, from the Peaceful Seasons stamp set was stamped on the Basic White die cut label using Versamark ink. I covered it with gold embossing powder and heat set it. I stamped the snowflake from the Frozen Edges stamp set, in Versamark ink onto to die cut Lost Lagoon die cut label. I covered it with the Gold Embossing Powder and Heat set it.

The 4 die cut labels were then placed in position on the Pretty Peacock panel, moved each to one side and stamped the cluster of mini snowflakes in Versamark ink. The snowflake cluster were then embossed with Gold Embossing Powder. The embossed panel was then glued to the 5⅜” by 3⅝” panel of Basic White.

A length of Gold Ribbon was then threaded through the Basic White label and the label was then added to the Pretty Peacock layer on Dimensionals. The ends of the ribbon were then adhered to the back of the panel using Sellotape and the panel was then glued to the Lost Lagoon card base.

A Christmas card made using the Decorative Trees Stamp set and Dies from Stampin' Up!

Decorative Trees card

I have made a pretty Christmas card using the Decorative Trees stamp set and some of the 2024 – 2026 In Color Glimmer Paper.

Colours in this card are:

To recreate the decorative tree card, you will need:

Shy Shamrock card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛” – Rounded upper right corner
Early Espresso card – 5½” by 3¾” – Rounded upper right corner
Basic White card – 5⅜” by 3⅝” – Rounded upper right corner
2024-206 In Color Glimmer – 3½” by 2½”
Basic White card – 3½” by 2½”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” -Rounded upper right corner – for the inside

I stamped the sentiment in the upper left corner of the 5⅜” by 3⅝” panel of Basic White card using Shy Shamrock ink. A Blending Brush was used to add Fresh Freesia ink to the right-hand side of the same panel.

Using the Decorative Trees Dies I die cut a solid tree from the piece of Glimmer Paper and a delicate tree from the 3½” by 2½” panel of Basic White card. I had applied a piece of Masking Paper to the back of the Basic White card prior to die cutting. The backing paper was removed, and the two trees were adhered together and added over the ribbon on Dimensionals.
