Flowering Foils

Today I am sharing a sweet card made made for a new team member using the gorgeous Flowering Foils designer series paper (dsp) and the stunning So Very Vellum paper. Both of these items are part of this years Sale-A-Bration. With a £45 order you can choose either the dsp or the vellum – with a £90 order you can get both but don’t hang about as Sale-A-Bration ends today.

Floral Blooms

Today I am sharing a sweet floral blooms card made using the Thoughtful Blooms stamp set and the Best Dressed dsp. This stamp set is one of the free choices available with a £45 order before the 31st March 2020. This card was inspired by a card I saw on YouTube made by a German demonstrator called Nicole Badach.

To recreate the Floral Blooms card you will need:

Thick Whisper White card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – Rounded upper right corner
Lovely Lipstick – 3” by 3”
Best Dressed designer series paper (dsp) – 3” by 3”
Granny Apple Green – 4” by ⅝”
Scrap Whisper White

I die cut a square from the Best Dressed dsp using the largest of the stitched Squares from the Stitched Shapes dies.

Using the Layering Squares dies I die cut a slightly larger scalloped square from the panel of Lovely Lipstick card stock and adhered it to the back of the dsp square using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. The panel was then added to the Thick Whisper White card base on Dimensionals.

Using the Tailored Tag Punch I flagged both ends of the Granny Apple Green strip and glued it to the square panel, off to the right.

The sentiment from the Peaceful Moments stamp set was stamped in Lovely Lipstick ink onto scrap Whisper White card stock and punched out using the Tailored Tag Punch. The punched sentiment was added to the card front with glue and a dimensional on the overhanging right side.

I stamped 2 of the pretty striped flowers from the gorgeous Thoughtful Blooms stamp set in Lovely Lipstick ink onto scrap Whisper White card and another in Daffodil Delight ink.

The flowers were punched out using the Small Blooms punch. These were added to the card front with Mini Glue Dots. I added Gold Glitter Enamel Dots to the flower centres plus a couple of extra scattered around.

I hope you like it and thanks again to Nicole for the inspiration.
