Here is a sweet ornate spotlight card made using the Ornate Style stamp set and the Ornate Floral Embossing Folder.
To recreate the ornate spotlight card you will need:
So Saffron card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
So Saffron – 5⅝” by 3⅞”
Gray Granite – 5¼” by 3½”
Whisper White – 5⅛” by 3⅜”
Whisper White – 5⅜” by 3⅜”
I ran the So Saffron layer through the die cutting machine in the Ornate Floral Embossing Folder. I love this folder it is so, so pretty. This layer was added to the So Saffron card front with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.
I stamped the gorgeous floral image in Gray Granite ink onto the smaller Whisper White panel. Using the Stitched Shapes dies I cut a circle from the centre of the stamped image.
I wrapped some Linen Thread 3 times around the stamped panel and adhered it to the Gray Granite panel. This was added with the same adhesive to the card front and a Linen thread bow added.
Using the following Blends Markers I coloured in the image within the die cut stitched circle – Flirty Flamingo combo, So Saffron combo, Highland Heather combo, Mint Macaron combo and the color lifter.
The coloured piece was added to the card front on Dimensionals.
