Today I am sharing a pretty peacock poppy card made using the Painted Poppies stamp set and the Ornate Layers Dies.
To recreate the Peacock Poppies card, you will need:
Pretty Peacock Card Base –- 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Pretty Peacock – 5¾” by 4”
Whisper White – 5¼” by 3¾”
Whisper White – 3⅝” by 2¼”
Whisper White 5⅞” by 3⅝” – for the inside
Whisper White – ⅝” strip
On my desk I had a die cut decorative panel, cut for another project and not used. The panel was cut from Whisper White card using the Ornate Layers Dies.
I cut a panel of Whisper White card – 3⅝” by 2¼” which fits inside the ornate panel. I stamped the group of poppies from the Painted Poppies stamp set, across the bottom of the panel in Basic Gray ink.
The flowers were coloured in using the Pretty Peacock Blends Markers.
Using the larger speckled stamp from the Painted Poppies stamp set, I randomly stamped across the stamped panels using 1st, 2nd and 3rd generation Balmy Blue ink.
The stamped panel was glued to the Ornate Layer using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive and the whole panel added to the Pretty Peacock card base on Dimensionals.
The sentiment from the Itty Bitty Birthdays stamp set was stamped on the strip of Whisper White, trimmed and added to the card front. I used the Pretty Peacock Blends Markers to colour in a trio of Basic Rhinestones to complete the card.
Such a pretty card.
