Hello and welcome to the Share It Sunday Blog Hop where we are sharing something we have been working on recently. I have chosen to share an adorable card made using the Carnival Treats stamp set and some Spring colours.
Colours used in this card are:
To recreate the carnival treats card, you will need:
Lemon Lolly card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛
Basic Black card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Basic White card – 5¼” by 3½”
Basic Black card – 3½” by ½”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
I stamped the first doughnut. from the Carnival Treats stamp set in the centre of the 5¼” by 3½” piece of Basic White card in Lemon Lolly ink. I stamped the same image onto Masking Paper and trimmed it out using Scissors.
The mask was placed over the stamped doughnut and another was stamped to the right in Bubble Bath ink. I repeated this step using the mask and Pool Party, Petal Pink and Fresh Freesia ink.
I used the dark Crumb Cake Blends Pen to colour in the un-iced portions of all the doughnuts. The whole panel was glued to the Basic Black panel. I added the layer to the the Lemon Lolly card base on Dimensionals.
The sentiment, from the Artistically Inked stamp set was stamped in Versamark ink onto the piece of Basic Black card. I covered it with White Embossing Powder and heat set it. I angled one end and clued it to the card front.
A scattering of sequins completed the card. Isn’t it sweet!
