All Day Your Way card – ink & Inspirations Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop where we are being inspired by a colour challenge. I have used the sweet Day to Celebrate stamp set to make an ‘all day your way’ birthday card.

Colours used in this card are:

To recreate the ‘all day your way’ card, you will need:

Azure Afternoon card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5⅞” by 2½”
Melon Mambo card – 5⅞” by ½” x 2
Calypso Coral card – 4⅛” by ⅞”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside

I randomly stamped the party hat in Melon Mambo Calypso Coral, Cajun Craze, Summer Splash and Azure Afternoon inks onto the 5⅞” by 2½” piece of Basic White card.

From the strips of Melon Mambo card, I die cut 2 wavy edges using the Ocean Friends Dies. These were glued either side of the stamped panel. This piece was mounted onto the Azure Afternoon card base on Dimensionals.

The sentiment was stamped in Versamark ink onto the strip of Calypso Coral card, covered it with White Embossing Powder and set it using my Heat Tool. This was added straddling the stamped panel to the card front.
