Hello and welcome to the Share It Sunday where I am sharing have made an adorable card using the Darling Dinos stamp set, coming on the 7th January 2025 in the new January – April 2025 catalogue.
Colours used in this card are:
To recreate the pink dino card, you will need:
Petunia Pop card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Shy Shamrock card – 5⅝” by 3⅞”
Basic White card –x 2 – one for the inside
2024 – 2026 In Color dsp – 5½” by 1½”
Shy Shamrock card – 5½” by ⅜”
Basic White card – 3¼” by 3”
Scrap Shy Basic White & Shamrock card
The thin strip of Shy Shamrock card was glued to the right-hand edge of the strip of designer series paper (dsp).
Using the dark Shy Shamrock I coloured a length of Baker’s Twine – I used the Very Vanilla. I left it a few minutes to dry before wrapping it around the panel, securing it on the back. The whole piece was then adhered to one of the 5½” by 3¾” pieces of Basic White card. The panel was layered onto the large Shy Shamrock panel and then to the Petunia Pop card front.
Using the Nested Essentials Dies, I die cut a stitched rectangle from the 3¼” by 3” panel of Basic White card. I stamped the grass image in 1st, 2nd and 3rd generation Shy Shamrock ink along the bottom if the rectangle. The flower was stamped in Pebbled Path ink amongst the grass and coloured using Peach Pie, Shy Shamrock and Pecan Pie Blens Pens.
The boulders and the adorable dinosaur were stamped with Pebbled Path ink. The boulders were coloured using Pebbled Path and Smoky Slate Blends. The dinosaur was coloured using Bubble Bath, Petunia Pop and Flirty Flamingo Blends Pens. These were die cut using the Darling Dinos Dies.
The boulders were added to the die cut rectangle with liquid Glue and the dinosaur added on Dimensionals. The whole panel was added to the card front on Dimensionals.
From scrap Shy Shamrock card, I die cut leaves using the Heart Shaped Dies and added them to the upper right and lower left corners of the raised rectangle.
The sentiment was stamped in Petunia Pop ink in the lower right-hand corner of the card front. A coloured twine bow and a scattering of 2024 – 2026 In Color Shimmer finished the card.
