In Color Flowers card – Share It Sunday Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Share It Sunday Blog Hop where we are showcasing projects made using the gorgeous new, 2024 – 2026 In Colors. I made my card using the Country Flowers Stamp set and Dies.

Colours used in this card are:

To recreate the in color flowers card, you will need:

Summer Splash card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper left corner
Basic Black card – 5¼” by 3½” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 5⅛” by 3⅜” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – rounded upper left corner – for the inside
Basic Black card – ¼” strip
Scrap Basic White card

Using a Blending Brush, I added Pretty In Pink ink to the 5⅛” by 3⅜” piece of Basic White card. The inked panel was then glued to the Basic Black piece and then to the Thick Basic White card front.

I stamped the striped image from the Trucking Along stamp set along the bottom of the inked panel.

The teapot, vase, leafy plant and floral arrangement from the Country Flowers stamp set were stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto scrap Basic White card. These images were then die cut using the Country Flowers Dies. I added the decorative pattern to the teapot using the same black ink.

Using Peach Pie Blends Pens I coloured the bands on the vase leaving the rest of the vase white. The leafy plant was coloured with the Shy Shamrock Blends Pens.

The teapot was coloured with Summer Splash Blends Pens and the decorative piece with Petunia Pop Blends Pens. I used Pretty In Pink, Petunia Pop and Shy Shamrock Blends to colour in the floral image.

The die cut pieces were then added to the card front on Dimensionals.

The sentiment, from the Country Birdhouse stamp set was stamped in Versamark ink onto the strip of Basic Black card. I covered it with White Embossing Powder and set it using my Heat Tool before I added it to the card front.

A trio of 2024 – 2026 In Color Shimmer Gems and a Linen Thread bow completed the card.

Country Flowers card

The card I am sharing today is made with the pretty new stamp set called Country Flowers, available from the 1^st May 2024 in the new annual catalogue.

Colours in this card are:

To recreate the country flowers card, you will need:

Balmy Blue card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Fresh As A Daisy dsp – 5⅞” by 2”
Basic White card – 4¼” by 3”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Basic White card and Fresh As A Daisy dsp

Using Balmy Blue ink, I stamped the leafy spray in the upper left and lower right corners of the Balmy Blue card front.

I flagged the end of the 5⅞” by 2” piece of Fresh as a Daisy dsp and glued it down the centre of the card front.

Using a Blending Brush, I added Balmy Blue ink to the centre of the 4¼” by 3” panel of Basic White card. I stamped the ‘ground’ image from the Trucking Along stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and added the sentiment, from the Simply Said stamp set, in Balmy Blue ink below. The panel was then glued to the card front.

The image of the teapot was stamped onto a scrap of Fresh As A Daisy dsp using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. The leafy spray was stamped on scrap Basic White card with the same ink. Both pieces were then die cut using the Country Flowers Dies.

The leaves were coloured with the Granny Apple Green Blend Pens. I mounted the teapot and leaves onto the card front on Dimensionals.

A bow made from the 2022 – 2024 In Color Twine and a trio of Classic Matte Dots finished the card.

Country Flowers card

Here is a sweet card made using the Country Flowers stamp set and co-ordinating dies which will be available in my online shop from the 1^st May 2024. I made this card using the paper piecing technique.

Colours in this card are:

Basic White, Lemon Lolly, Petal Pink, Fresh Freesia, Petunia Pop, Granny Apple Green, Shaded Spruce, Night of Navy & Black

To recreate the country flowers card, you will need:

Fresh Freesia card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5” by 3½”
Meandering Meadows dsp – 4 ¼” by 2 ¾”
Petunia Pop card – 4⅛” by ⅜” x 3
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾”
Scrap Basic White and Masterfully Made dsp

Using the Countryside Corners Dies, I die cut a label from the piece of Meandering Meadows dsp and the 5” by 3½” panel of Basic White card. I used Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive to glue the labels together.
