Hello and welcome to the Crafty Challenge Blog Hop where we are sharing projects inspired by a sketch. I have used the new Sketched Butterflies Dies to create my card.
Challenges crafty collaberators – May sketch
Colours used in this card are:
To recreate the butterflies card, you will need:
Thick Basic White card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Gorgeous Grape card – 4” by 3⅛”
Bubble Bath card – 3⅞” by 3”
Basic White card – 5⅞” by 1½”
Basic White card – ¼” strip
Scrap Bubble Bath, Lemon Lolly, Pool Party & Gorgeous Grape
I embossed the long strip of Basic White card and the panel of Bubble Bath card using one of the Basics 3D Embossing Folders.

The embossed Bubble Bath layer was then adhered, embossed side uppermost, to the panel of Gorgeous Grape card. This piece was then glued to the Thick Basic White card front.

I flagged the end of the embossed strip of Basic White card and added it, with the de-bossed side uppermost, to the card front with Dimensionals at the top and the bottom.

The pretty butterflies were then die cut from the scrap pieces of Bubble Bath, Lemon Lolly, Pool Party & Gorgeous Grape. The butterflies were then added to the card front with a Mini Glue Dot.

The sentiment, from the Country Birdhouse stamp set was stamped onto the ¼” strip of Basic White card and added it to the card front.

A Basic Rhinestone was added to the centre of each of the butterflies to finish the card.
