Sending a Hug card – Invisible Disabilities & Mental Illness Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Invisible Disabilities and Mental Health Blog Hop where I am sharing a pretty,sending a hug card made for a friend who is going through a tough time with her mental health. I used the pretty Coffee with Friends stamp set to make my card.

 Colours used in this card are:

 

To recreate the sending a hug card, you will need:

Summer Splash card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 4⅝” by 3”
Unbounded Beauty dsp – 4½” by 2⅞”
Petunia Pop card – 4⅜” by 2¾”
Basic White card – 4¼” by 2⅝”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Pretty in Pink

 

I glued the panel of Unbounded Beauty dsp to the 4⅝” by 3” piece of Basic White card and then glued it to the Summer Splash card base.

The lady with coffee image was stamped on the 4¼” by 2⅝” piece of Basic White card using Pebbled Path ink.

The following Blends Pens were used to colour in the image – Pretty in Pink, Petunia Pop, Summer Splash, Ivory, Wild Wheat & Pebbled Path.

Coffee with Friends card – Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop where we are creating projects inspired by a colour challenge. I have used the sweet Coffee With Friends stamp set to make my card.

 

Colours in this card are:

 

To recreate the coffee with friends card, you will need:

Real Red card base – – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Early Espresso card – 5⅛” by 3⅜”
Basic White card – 5” by 3¼”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾”
Early Espresso card – 2” by ¾”
Basic White card – 2¼” by 1″

 

The image was stamped in Early Espresso ink onto the 5” by 3¼” piece of Basic White card.

Using the following Blends I coloured the image in – Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Shaded Spruce & Balmy Blue. Snuck a little Ivory in to colour the skin.

The sentiment was stamped in Early Espresso ink onto the panel but I stamped it crooked……..errgh, so annoying.

I adhered the panel to the large layer of Early Espresso card and then to the Real Red card front.

So, I stamped it again on the small panel of Basic White and die cut it using the Perennial Postage Dies. I matted the sentiment onto the small piece of Early Espresso card and added it to the card front on Dimensionals.

Coffee with Friends card – Stamping Dreams Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamping Dreams Blog Hop where we are sharing summer fun themed projects. In the summer, I love nothing more than sitting in the garden, with a friend and a drink in my hand and have used the Coffee With Friends stamp set to create my card.

Colours in this card are:

 

To recreate the coffee with friends card, you will need:

Basic Beige card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic Black card – 5⅝” by 3⅝” – rounded upper right corner
Country Woods dsp – 5¼” by 3½” – rounded upper right corner
Basic White card – 4” by 4”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside – rounded upper right corner
Basic Black card – 2” by ⅜”

 

Using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive, I glued the piece of Country Woods dsp to the Basic Black panel.

A length of Checked ribbon was wrapped around the panel, secured on the back with Sellotape. The whole piece was then glued to the Basic Beige card front,

I used the Perennial Postage Dies to die cut a label. I ran it through twice to make it smaller.

The image of the two girls on the bench was stamped onto the die cut piece using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. The image was then coloured using the following Blends Pens – Petal Pink, Fresh Freesia, Pool Party, Lemon Lolly, Granny Apple Green, Crumb Cake, Smoky Slate, Medium Light combo, Medium combo, Medium Deep combo & Deep combo. The coloured piece was then mounted onto the card front on Dimensionals.

The sentiment, from the Thoughtful Wishes stamp set was stamped on the small strip of Basic Black card with Versamark ink. I covered it with White Embossing Powder and heat set it. I added it to the card front.

Coffee With Friends card

Here is a pretty card made for a friend who is going through a hard time. I used the pretty Coffee with Friends stamp set to make my card.

Colours used in this card are:

 

To recreate the coffee with friends card, you will need:

Boho Blue card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 4⅝” by 3”
Mediterranean Blooms dsp – 4½” by 2⅞”
Lemon Lolly card – 4⅜” by 2¾”
Basic White card – 4¼” by 2⅝”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Lemon Lolly

 

I glued the panel of Mediterranean Blooms dsp to the 4⅝” by 3” piece of Basic White card and then glued it to the Boho Blue card base.
