Pink Magnolia card – Stamping Dreams Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamping Dreams Blog Hop where we are sharing floral projects. I have used the gorgeous Magnolia Mood stamp set and co-ordinating Dies to make my card.

Colours used in this card are:

To recreate the pink magnolia card, you will need:

Petunia Pop card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Old Olive card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Winter Meadow dsp – 5¼” by 3½”
Basic White card – 4” by 4”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Basic White card

The piece of Winter Meadow dsp was glued to the Old Olive layer and a piece of Black & White Gingham Ribbon was around the panel. It was then adhered to the Petunia Pop card base.

Using the following Blends Pens, I coloured in the image – light Bubble Bath, light Petunia Pop, light Wild Wheat, light & dark Old Olive and the Color Lifter. The flowers were then die cut using the Magnolia Mood Dies.

At this point I decided I needed white behind the largest flower and die cut the largest circle from the Everyday Details Dies and slipped it behind the Gingham Ribbon. The flowers were then added over the top of the ribbon on Dimensionals.

Flowers of Beauty card – Stamping With Friends Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop where we are sharing a project we have been working on recently. I have been playing with the Flowers of Beauty stamp set, new product from the Annual Catalogue which will go live on the 1st May 2024.

Colours in this project are:

To recreate the flowers of beauty card, you will need:

Petunia Pop card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Summer Splash card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Basic White card – 5¼” by 3½”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Basic White, Pretty in Pink & Petunia Pop

Using a Blending Brush, I added Pretty In Pink ink to the 5¼” by 3½” panel of Basic White card. The inked panel was then glued to the Summer Splash layer and then to the Petunia Pop card base.

On scrap Basic White card, I stamped the out line of the leafy spray in Pretty Peacock ink. The more solid image was added over the top in Summer Splash ink. I used the Flowers of Beauty Dies to cut out the leafy spray. The spray was glued to the card front.

From scrap Pretty In Pink and Petunia Pop cardstock, I die cut the rows of large and small flowers. Using the round end of a pencil I shaped each flower. The smaller Pretty In Pink flowers were added to the centre of the larger Petunia Pop flowers with a Mini Glue Dot to hold them together.

I stamped the sentiment, from the Cake Fancy stamp set, was stamped on scrap Basic White card. The Double Oval Punch was used to punch the sentiment out and a slightly larger scalloped oval punched from scrap Petunia Pop card. The two were adhered together and added to the card front.
