Spotlight on Stippled Roses – Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop where our projects are inspired by a sketch challenge. I have used the Stippled Roses stamp set to make a variation on the spotlight technique to make my card.

Soft Sea Foam card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Granny Apple Green card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”

A Rainbow cake themed card made for the Fandoms Blog Hop using the Cake Fancy stamp set from Stampin' Up!

Fancy Rainbow Cake card – Fandom Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Fandom Blog Hop where we are sharing projects celebrating hobbies and/or obsessions. I have chosen to celebrate baking, an obsession of mine as I love to bake and am constantly on the look-out for new recipes to try out. I have made my card using the pretty Cake Fancy stamp set.

Colours used in this card are:

To recreate the fancy rainbow cake card, you will need:

Azure Afternoon card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Pebbled Path card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Basic White card – 5¼” by 3½”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Basic White card

The sentiment was stamped at the bottom of the 5¼” by 3½” panel of Basic White card in Pebbled Path ink.

The layers of the rainbow cake were then stamped starting with Daffodil Delight, then Calypso Coral, Petunia Pop, Granny Apple Green and Azure Afternoon inks. The stamped panel was then glued to the Pebbled Path layer.
