Thank you for joining me for the October Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop where our theme is Autumn/Fall/Halloween. You are currently with Mo Rootes in the UK, you may have hopped over from the lovely Jill Chapman‘s blog. I have chosen to make an Autumn Rooted in Nature card.
To recreate the Autumn Rooted in Nature card, you will need:
Gray Granite card base –- 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper left corner
Terracotta Tile – 5 ½” by 3 ¾” – rounded upper left corner
Whisper White – 5⅜” by 3⅝” – rounded upper left corner x 2
Whisper White ¼” strip
The stamp was cleaned with my Shammy and the plate moved along one hinge step to the right and stamped the leaf again in Terracotta Tile ink. I repeated the step and stamped in Cherry Cobbler ink.
The last 2 steps were repeated to the left of the Gray Granite ink.
The stamped panel was adhered to the Terracotta Tile layer with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. I used some of the lovely Ornate Gardens Terracotta Tile Ribbon around the panel, securing it on the back with Sellotape. The layer was then added to the Gray Granite card base with Dimensionals.
The sentiment was stamped in Early Espresso ink onto a ¼” strip of Whisper White card which was then trimmed down and added over the ribbon using Mini Glue Dots.
A bow from the same ribbon was added with a Mini Glue Dot and a trio of Holiday Rhinestones added to complete the card.
I hop you like it. Please hop on to see what Rochelle Laird–Smith has to share with us today.
