Here is a pretty card made using the gorgeous Beauty of Friendship stamp set and Beautiful Trees Dies.
Colours in this project are:
To recreate the bird in a tree card, you will need:
Thick Basic White card – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5⅝” by 3⅞”
Soft Suede card – 4½” by 3½”
Old Olive card – 3¼” by 3½”
Beauty of the Earth dsp – 3½” by 3 ¼”
Beauty of the Earth dsp – 2½” by ¾”
Scrap Balmy Blue card
I stamped the ’ground’ image in 2nd generation Crumb Cake ink onto the Basic White card then ran the card through my Cut & Emboss Machine inside the Bark Embossing Folder. This gives such a gorgeous texture.
The tree trunk was die from the Soft Suede card using the Beautiful Trees Dies and added to the embossed card with the same liquid glue then trimmed off the overhang. I then die cut the tree canopy from the Old Olive card and added it with the same adhesive and trimmed it also.
The detailed final layer was die cut from the Beauty of the Earth dsp and added with Mini Dimensionals. The excess was then trimmed off and the whole panel was added to the Thick Basic White card base with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.
I stamped the sentiment in Versamark ink onto a scrap of Beauty of the Earth dsp and added Gold Embossing Powder and set it with my Heat Tool. I flagged the end with my Banner Triple Punch and added a piece of Fine Art Ribbon to the bottom before adding it to the card front on Dimensionals.
I die cut a bird from the scrap Balmy Blue card and added it to the tree. The card was completed with a trio of Brushed Metallic Dots.
