Hello and welcome to the Stamp ‘N Hop Blog Hop where we are sharing projects made using scraps. I have made my card using the beautiful Autumn Dies and scraps of All About Autumn dsp.
Colours in this card are:
To recreate the scrappy leaf card, you will need:
Moody Mauve card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper left corner
All About Autumn dsp – 5⅛” by 3⅜” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 5” by 3¼”– rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 3¼” by 3¼” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾”- for the inside – rounded upper left corner
All About Autumn dsp – strips ¼” and ⅜” inch wide and different lengths
I covered the square of Basic White card with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive and laid the strips of All About Autumn designer Series Paper (dsp) across the panel at a diagonal and making sure to butt the strips tightly up against each other.
The excess dsp was then trimmed off using Scissors.
The large maple leaf was cut from the centre of the striped panel using the large maple leaf die, from the Autumn Leaves die set.
From the leaf over scraps, I die cut 4 mores smaller leaves.
A length of the gorgeous Copper Ribbon was wrapped around the 5” by 3¼” panel of Basic White card and secured on the back with Tear ‘n Tape.
The large die cut leaf added over top of the ribbon on Dimensionals.
The sentiment, from the Throughout the Year stamp set, was stamped below the leaf in Pretty Peacock ink. The whole piece was added to the panel of All About Autumn dsp and glued to the front of the Moody Mauve card base.
A trio of 2023 – 2025 In Color Dots completed the card.
Please hop on to share other ideas for using up your scraps. Next up is the lovely Annette Elias.
