A one sheet wonder technique used to make some pretty snowflake Christmas cards using the So Many Snowflakes stamp set by Stampin' Up!

Jolly Snowflakes for the Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop where we are sharing something we have been working on. I have chosen to share some Jolly Snowflakes cards using a modified version of a one sheet wonder,

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the jolly snowflakes cards, you will need:

Card Bases – 2 Pool Party and 2 Highland Heather – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” with one rounded corner
2 Coastal Cabana and 2 Gorgeous Grape panels – 5⅜” by 3⅝” with one rounded corner
4 panels of Basic White card – 5¼” by 3½” with one rounded corner
4 panels of Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” for the inside
Scrap, Basic White, Coastal Cabana & Gorgeous Grape – for the sentiments

I placed the 4 smaller Basic White panels in a square onto a piece of grid paper. The largest snowflake was inked up in Pool Party ink and stamped randomly overlapping the layers of card stock.

The next snowflake was added in Highland Heather ink, again concentrating the stamping along the cross shaped join lines of the Basic White card pieces. The Coastal Cabana Snowflake was added next and lastly the Gorgeous Grape snowflake.

I separated the stamped panels and added each to either, a Coastal Cabana or a Gorgeous Grape panel.

A length of either Pool Party Sheer Ribbon or Gorgeous Grape Sheer Ribbon were added to the layers and the panels were then added to either a Pool Party or a Highland Heather card base.

Using a label from the Seasonal Labels Dies, I die cut 4 Basic White, 2 Coastal Cabana and 2 Gorgeous Grape labels. The sentiment from the Christmas to Remember stamp set were stamped in either Coastal Cabana or Gorgeous Grape ink. The stamped label was then added to a coloured label using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

The sentiment labels were then added, on Dimensionals to the card fronts. A bow of the corresponding ribbon was added with a Mini Glue Dot. The cards were completed by adding a trio of either, Artistry Blooms Sequins or Pastel Pearls.

The Christmas Trimmings Dies used to make a star themed Christmas card for the Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop

Christmas Trimmings for the Ink. Stamp, Share. Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Ink. Stamp, Share Blog Hop where our theme is ‘Christmas in July’.  We have so many lovely Christmas goodies coming in the new July – December 2021 Mini Catalogue that we can sometimes overlook the Christmas sets in the Annual Catalogue. I have chosen to use one of these sets, Christmas Trimmings,  to make my card.

Colours used in this project are:

T recreate the Christmas Trimmings card, you will need:

So Saffron card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper right corner
Early Espresso card – 5½” by 3¾” – rounded upper right corner
Very Vanilla card – 5⅜” by 3⅝” – rounded upper right corner x 2 – one for the inside
Early Espresso card – 3¼” by ⅝”
Gold Metallic Speciality Paper

Using the’ basket weave’ image from the Natural Textures stamp set I stamped in 2nd generation So Saffron ink to stamp all over one of the Very Vanilla panels. This gives both colour and texture to the background. The stamped panel was then added to the Early Espresso panel with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive, then to the So Saffron card base with the same glue.

Next, I took the star dies, both the outline and the detailed, from the Christmas Trimmings Dies and cut them from the Gold Metallic Speciality paper.

Using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive, I glued the large and small star frames and the small solid star to the stamped background panel.

I decided to leave all the infill pieces in the more detailed stars in situ and added them to the card front on Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Christmas to Remember stamp set,  in Versamark ink onto the strip of Early Espresso card, covered it with Gold Embossing Powder and heat set it using my Heat Tool. I flagged the end with Scissors and added the piece to the card front on Dimensionals. To complete the card, I added a scattering of Gold Metallic Pearls.
