Shepherd’s Care card – Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop where we are sharing a project of our own choice. I have chosen to share a card made using the Shepherd’s Care stamp set.

Colours used in this card are:

 

To recreate the shepherd’s care card, you will need:

Night of Navy card base 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Daffodil Delight card – 5½” by 3¾”
Basic White card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Basic White card

 

I stamped the image of the shepherd onto the 5½” by 3¾” panel of Basic White card using Night of Navy ink.

Using the following Blends Pens I coloured in the image – Boho Blue, Night of Navy, Smoky Slate and Copper Clay.

 

The large star and the scattering of smaller stars were stamped in Daffodil Delight ink.  Using a Blending Brush I added Misty Moonlight ink all around the edges of the panel.

I stamped the sentiment, from the Peaceful Seasons stamp set in Night of Navy ink at the bottom of the panel and sadly managed not to stamp it straight………so I stamped it again on scrap Basic White card which I then die cut using the Greetings of the Season Dies.

 

I inked around the edges of the die cut greeting and adhered the die cut to the stamped panel trimming off the excess.

The decorated panel was then glued to the Daffodil Delight layer which was then mounted onto the Night of Navy card front on Dimensionals.
