Today for the Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop I am sharing the season of elegance treat boxes I made for the ladies at my book club Christmas dinner. The evening is such fun, we all bring part of the meal, and I also like to bring a little table gift for each person. This box was not my original idea, but I cannot now find the designer – if it was you, please leave me a comment and ‘thank you’.
Colours in this box are:
To recreate the season of elegance box, you will need:
Thick Basic White card – 6⅞” by 4⅛”
Season of Elegance dsp – 1⅛” by 1⅛” x 3
White Glimmer paper
Using my Paper Trimmer I scored the Thick Basic White card on the long side at 1⅜” by 2¾”, 4⅛” and 5½” and on the short side at 1⅜” by 4⅛”.
I used sharp Scissors to cut on the scorelines as shown in the photo.
Using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive I formed the base of the box followed by the box top.
Two of the Season of Elegance designer Series Paper square were glued to the box. One on the top of the lid and the other on the front of the lid. The remaining square was cut in half on the diagonal and the pieces were glued to the triangular sides of the lid.
I die cut small snowflakes using the Snowy Wonder Dies and White Glimmer Paper. One of these was the added to the top of each box with a cut down piece of Mini Dimensional.
A Gold Textured Adhesive-backed Dot was added to the centre of each snowflake to hide the dimensional.
A Ferrero Rocher Chocolate fits perfectly in the box.
Please hop on to see what my crafty friends have been playing with recently.
