Reindeer & Birds card – Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop where we have a sketch to inspire us. I have used the gorgeous Reindeer Days dsp to make my card.

Colours in this card are:

To recreate the reindeer and birds’ card, you will need:

Pool Party card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Real Red card – 5” by 3¾”
Reindeer Days dsp – 4¾” by 3¼”
Pecan Pie card – 3½” by 1½”
Reindeer Days dsp – 3 ½” by 1¼”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Basic White card

I randomly stamped the image of the jingle bells around the edges of the Pool Party card front using Pool Party ink.

The panel of dsp was die cut using one of the Deckled Rectangle Dies. I used a slightly larger Deckled Rectangle die to die cut a rectangle from the Real Red card and adhered the 2 pieces together and added the panel to the Pool Party card front on Dimensionals.

I tore the dsp along the top and bottom edges and using Scissors, I roughed up the top and bottom of the Pecan Pie strip. The two pieces were glued together. I wrapped a length of Real Red and White Twine around the panel before adhering it to the card front.

The sentiment, from the Peaceful Seasons stamp set was stamped in Pecan Pie ink onto scrap Basic White card. The sentiment was then die cut using the Greetings of the Seasons Dies. I die cut it twice to make the label smaller. I added the label to the card front.
