Today I made a card using the Pick a Season stamp set. This pretty set is one of the choices free with a qualifying £55 order.
Colours used in this card are:
To recreate the pick a season card, you will need:
Thick Basic White card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Bloom Impressions dsp – 5⅞” by 2”
Melon Mambo card – 5⅞” by ⅜” x 2
Granny Apple Green card – 4” by 2⅞”
Basic White card – 3⅞” by 2¾”
The strips of Melon Mambo card were glued on either side of the panel of Bloom Impressions Designer Series Paper (dsp). The strip was then adhered to the Thick Basic White card front.
I stamped the tree trunk in Pecan Pie ink onto the small panel of Basic White card. I found it easier to stamp the tree canopy if the trunk was already in place. The tree canopy was then added in Granny Apple Green ink.
The trio of tiny flowers were stamped in Melon Mambo ink in the gaps in the tree canopy.
Grass was stamped along the bottom in 1st, 2nd and 3rd generation Granny Apple Green ink and the sentiment, from the Simply Said stamp set was added below using the same ink. The decorated piece was then glued to the Granny Apple Green panel. This was added to the card front on Dimensionals.
A trio of Shiny Sequins completed the card.
