I shared a rainbow cake card on the 18th June and have decided to recreate it using pastel colours and the cake fancy stamp set.
Colours used in this card are:
To recreate the pastel rainbow cake card, you will need:
Fresh Freesia card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Smoky Slate card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Basic White card – 5¼” by 3½”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Basic White card
The sentiment was stamped at the bottom of the 5¼” by 3½” panel of Basic White card in Smoky Slate ink.

I stamped the cake stand in the Smoky Slate ink above the sentiment.

The layers of the rainbow cake were then stamped starting with Lemon Lolly, then Bubble Bath, Fresh Freesia, Pool Party and Soft Sea Foam inks. The stamped panel was then glued to the Smoky Slate layer.

On scrap Basic White card, I stamped a selection of flowers in Lemon Lolly, Fresh Freesia and Pool Party.

I laid the flowers out on the stamped panel and stamped the leafy sprig around the flowers in Soft Sea Foam ink.

The flowers were then adhered in place using either Mini Glue Dots or Mini Dimensionals.
A trio of Tinsel Gems completed the card.
