A pretty pastel card featuring the Pretty Medallion stamp set by Stampin' Up!

Pretty Medallion card

I have been playing with the beautiful Pretty Medallion stamp today and have used some soft pastel shades to colour in the image.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the pretty medallion card, you will need:

Pool Party card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛”
Fresh Freesia card – 4⅞” by 3⅞”
Basic White card – 12.3cms by 9cms
Basic White card – 4” by 1¾”
Fresh Freesia card – 4” by ¼”
Basic White – 5⅞” by ¾”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside

I mounted the Pretty Medallion stamp onto a Stamparatus Plate, inked it up with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and stamped it onto the 12.3cms by 9cms panel of Basic White card. I actually re-inked and stamped 3 times to get a nice rich black. I repeated this with the 5⅞” by ¾” strip of Basic White.

Balmy Blue card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛” – rounded upper left corner
Evening Evergreen card – 5¼” by 3½” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 5⅛” by 3⅜” – rounded upper left corner

Scrap Basic White, Balmy Blue and Evening Evergreen

The small bird cage image was stamped in the upper left and lower right corners of the Balmy Blue card base.
