Hello and welcome to the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop where we are sharing ideas for pop-up cards. I have to share a waterfall card made using the gorgeous Day At The Farm dsp.
To recreate the farm animal waterfall card, you will need:
Garden Green card base – 11¾” by 4⅛” – scored at 5⅞” Basic White card 5 ½” by 3 ¾” x 2 Day At The Farm dsp – 5⅜” by 3⅝” Garden Green card – 8⅝” by 2¾” – Scored at 1¾”, 2½”, 3¼” & 4” Garden Green card – 4⅛” by 1” Pear Pizzazz card – 2⅝” by 2⅝” x 3 Basic White card –2½” by 2½” x 3 Pear Pizzazz card – 2⅝” by 1⅝” Basic White – 2½” by 1½” Scrap Day At The Farm dsp Scrap Basic White & Daffodil Delight
Glue the 5⅜” by 3⅝” panel of Day At The Farm dsp to one of the large panels of Basic White card base using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. Use the same glue to add the panel to the Garden Green card base.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – The Day At The Farm designer series paper used to make a pretty animal themed waterfall card for the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop
Adhere the small strip of Garden Green card about 2¼” up from the bottom of the card front. Use strong adhesive such as Tear & Tape or Snail Plus as this piece gets a lot of pulling about.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – The Day At The Farm designer series paper used to make a pretty animal themed waterfall card for the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop
Next, insert the 4⅝” (longest side) end of the scored 8⅝” strip of Garden Green card into the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch; it is wider than the opening so is a bit of a fiddle. Push it right to the end then punch. Pull it out and trim off the extra piece on each side.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – The Day At The Farm designer series paper used to make a pretty animal themed waterfall card for the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop
Fold on all the score lines and slip the punched scalloped end of the Garden Green card under the strip of card you have just glued across the card. The scored part of the card will then be on top of the band. Using strong adhesive glue along the top of the scored panel – face down – adhere the piece to the bottom end of the band. This forms the waterfall mechanism.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – The Day At The Farm designer series paper used to make a pretty animal themed waterfall card for the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop
Use liquid adhesive at the top of each of the 2⅝” by 2⅝” panels of Pear Pizzazz and the 2⅝” by 1⅝” panel of Pear Pizzazz , adhere them to the small scored strips of the waterfall panel.
Using a Blending Brush add Balmy Blue ink to the 3 panels of Basic White measuring 2½” by 2½”. Cut down some of the dsp to create the effect of grass at the bottom of each of the Basic White panels.
Die cut some of the animals from the dsp using the On The Farm Dies and add then to the inked panels. Die cut some clouds using the same set of dies and glue parts of clouds to each panel before mounting the panels onto the larger Pear Pizzazz card layers.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – The Day At The Farm designer series paper used to make a pretty animal themed waterfall card for the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop
Stamp the sentiment in Garden Green ink onto the 2½” by 1½” piece of Basic White, add 2 ducks die cut using the same set of dies and glue to the smaller panel of Pear Pizzazz.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – The Day At The Farm designer series paper used to make a pretty animal themed waterfall card for the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop
Add a die cut goose to the final Basic White panel and glue to the back of the panel with the punched scalloped bottom. Add a piece of White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon to act as a pull tab and the card is complete.
Please hop over to share the inspiration provided by my crafty friends.

Hello and welcome to the Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop whare we are sharing projects inspired by a picture and colour combo. I have used the Oceanfront and Paradise Palms stamp sets to make a card.
