The embossed resist technique used with the Night of Flight host stamp set by Stampin' Up! for the Ink, Stamp. Share Blog Hop

Moths – a Night of Flight card for the Ink, Stamp, Share Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Ink, Stamp, Share Blog Hop where we are sharing projects made using pre-order products. I have chosen to use the Night of Flight stamp set and the 3 of our new 2023 – 2025 In Colors.

Colours used in this card are:

To recreate the night of flight card, you will need:

Wild Wheat card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Basic White card – 5¼” by 3½”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾”
Distressed Gold dsp – 3” by ½”
Basic White card – 2¾” by ⅜”

I mounted all of the moth images onto the largest acrylic block, Block I, inked them up with Versamark ink and stamped them down onto the 5¼” by 3½” panel of Basic White card. I covered the panel with White Embossing Powder and heat set it

Using Blending Brushes, I added Wild Wheat, Copper Clay and Moody Mauve inks covering the entire panel. I rubbed over each moth with a dry tissue to remove the ink sitting on top of the embossed images. Love how the white moths popped out.

A pretty, watercoloured, sheep themed thank you card made using the On The Farm stamp set by Stampin' Up!

Sheep Themed Thank You Card

Today I have been using the sweet On the Farm stamp set to make a pretty water coloured thank you card.

The colours used in this project are:

To recreate the sheep thank you card, you will need:

Sahara Sand card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Garden Green card – 3¼” by 2⅝”
Fluid 100 card – 3⅛” by 2½”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾”
Strips of Basic White, Balmy Blue and Garden Green ⅜” wide

When I am stamping onto watercolor paper, I usually use my Stamparatus. Because the paper is textured the Stamparatus gives me the option of re-stamping if I miss spots or I want the image to be darker. So, I stamped the fields, trees and sheep in StaZon Jet Black ink.

I added a drop of Balmy Blue re-inker to the lid of the Balmy Blue ink pad and painted in the sky using a Water Painter. After the sky had dried, I coloured the fields in the same way using Garden Green ink.

No Glue Treat Holder for the Stampin’ Dreams Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stampin’ Dreams Blog Hop where we are sharing ‘Anything But a Card’. I like to give the ladies who come to my monthly class a little treat and these little, no glue treat holders – made to hold 2 Merci chocolates – were made for my April class attendees. I was inspired by a YouTube video made by The Paper Pixie.

To recreate the no glue, treat holder, you will need:

Sailing Ship Vertical Easel Card for the Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the to the Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop where we are sharing fun fold cards. I have chosen to use the On The Ocean stamp set to create a vertical easel card.

The colours in this project are:

To recreate the sailing ship card, you will need:

Thick Basic White – 8” by 5⅞” – scored at 2” & 4”
By the Bay dsp – 5 ¾” by 1⅞”- x 2
Balmy Blue – 5¾” by 1”
By the Bay dsp – 5⅝” by ⅞”
Balmy Blue – 3½” by 1¾”
Basic White 3½” by 1¼”
Scrap Basic White, Balmy Blue, Real Red, Early Espresso & Basic Black

Using Balmy Blue ink, I stamped the clouds onto the 2 identical panels of By the Bay dsp. The birds were then added in Night of Navy ink. The 2 panels were then glued to the Thick Basic White card front.

Using the On the Ocean Dies, I die cut the solid wave from the 3½” by 1¾” panel of Balmy Blue and the detailed wave from the 3½” by 1¼” piece of Basic White card. The two were adhered together and trimmed down. As an after thought I stamped the wave image along the bottom using Balmy Blue ink.

The ship, body, sails and mast, were die cut from Early Espresso card. The separate sails were die cut from Basic Black card and the skull and crossbones from scrap Basic White card. The black sails were glued over the Early Espresso sails and the skull and cross bones added.

I folded off cut strips of dsp in half and glued one half of the strip to the ship and the other side to the card front butted up against the fold. I used three strips on either side.
