Well Dressed stamp set used for the Inspire create colour challenge #065

Well Dressed for the Inspire. Create challenge #065

Here is a masculine card made for the Inspire. Create challenge #035 using the Well Dressed stamp set. This time it is a colour challenge – Night of Navy, Crumb Cake and a colour of your choice, I chose Balmy Blue.

To recreate the Well Dressed card you will need:

Crumb Cake card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Night of Navy – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Whisper White – 5¼” by 3½”
Night of Navy – 3½” by 1¾”
Whisper White – 3½” by 1½”
Whisper White – 5⅜” by 3⅝” for the inside
Scrap Whisper White

I placed the panel of Whisper White – 5¼” by 3½” onto the Stamparatus, lined up the patterned stamp and picked it up with the door. I inked the stamp with Balmy Blue ink, moved the door plate over one slot, inked it up and stamped again repeating this across the panel.

www.crafty-rootes.co.uk -Mountain Air stamp set used to make a double Z fold card for a special birthday

I lined up the following Whisper White panels – The 2 panels measuring 3⅞” by 2⅜” and the 3⅞” by 3⅜” panel. I inked up the detailed Mountain stamp with Night of Navy ink. I repeated this step on all the panels. I cleaned the stamp with the Shammy and turned it over. I inked it up again with Night of Navy ink, stamped off the first layer of ink – 2nd generation – on my grid paper the stamped again on the Whisper White panels, slightly above the original image. I cleaned the stamp again and inked up in Highland Heather. This was stamped off twice before stamping on the panel.

Pretty bee themed card made using the Honey Bee stamp set and Detailed Bee Dies by Stampin' Up!

Honey Bee Wooden Hive

Today I am sharing a sweet wooden hive card made using the Honey Bee stamp set and Detailed Bee Dies and some of the Tropical Oasis designer series paper.

To recreate the Wooden Hive card you will need;

Seaside Spray card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Tropical Oasis dsp – 5⅞ by 2¼”
Daffodil Delight – 3” by 3”
Whisper White – 2⅞” by 2⅞”
Whisper White 5⅜ by 3⅝” – for the inside

The flowers were stamped randomly down the right side of the Seaside Spray card base in Seaside Spray ink. The strip of Tropical Oasis dsp was the glued to the left side of the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

I stamped the bee hive in Early Espresso ink onto a piece of the same Tropical Oasis dsp to create the wooden hive effect and die cut it out using the Detailed Bee Dies.

Te sentiment from the same stamp set was stamped onto the Whisper White square in Early Espresso ink and the bee hive added below with Dimensionals. The panel was then glued to the Daffodil Delight layer which was then added to the card front with liquid adhesive.

Onto scrap Whisper White card stock I stamped 2 bees in Early Espresso ink. These were die cut using the same set of dies. The bees were added to the card front, one with liquid glue and the other with a Dimensional.  I coloured in the stripes with the Daffodil Delight Blends combo.

I inked up the flower sprig using the Early Espresso Marker and the Seaside Spray Maker and stamped the image onto scrap Whisper White card. The sprig was die cut and glued to the right side of the hive.

A 2nd stamped and die cut sprig was added to the remaining Whisper White layer and adhered inside the card. I added a coat of Clear Wink of Stella to the wings of the bees and completed the card with a trio of Woven Threads Sequins.

Such a cute card, I hope you like it.
