Full of Life Peony

Today I am sharing a card made using the Poised Peony stamp set and the Full of Love dsp to make a pretty thank you card.

Colours used in this card are:

To recreate the full of life peony card, you will need:

Melon Mambo card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Daffodil Delight card – 4¾” by 3⅝”
Basic White card – 4⅝” by 3½”
Full of Life dsp – 4¾” by 4”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾”
Scrap Basic Black card

Using the Perennial Postage Dies I die cut a rectangle from the piece of Full of Life designer series paper (dsp).

The large peony image was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto the die cut rectangle of dsp. Using Daffodil Delight and Old Olive Blends Pens were used to colour in the image.

The rectangle of dsp was then glued to the 4⅝” by 3½” piece of Basic White card and then to the panel of Daffodil Delight card.

A length of White Diagonal Striped Ribbon was wrapped around the panel and secured on the back with Sellotape. The whole panel was then adhered to the Melon Mambo card front.
