Friendly Seagulls Classes – Share It Sunday Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Share it Sunday Blog Hop where we are sharing something we have been working on recently. I am sharing the cards designed for my January classes using the Friendly Seagulls stamp set.

Colours used in these cards are:

Flip Flap Card – Inspired by a card made by Amy of Just A Little Ink

Thick Basic White card – 8¼” by 5¾” – scored at 4⅛” and with the front edge at 1” on the right of the trimmer, cut from the top down to 1¾” and from the bottom to 3⅛”. Score the remaining 1” tab at 1”
Pool Party – 5¾” by 3”
Pool Party – 5¾” by 1¼”
Pebbled Path – 3” by 3” – Die cut a square using the Stylish Shapes Dies
Daffodil Delight – 2¾” by 2¾”
Basic White – 2½” by 2½” – Die cut a square using the Stylish Shapes Dies
Basic White – 2” by ¾”

We embossed the 2 panels of Pool Party card with the So Swirly Embossing Folder. Glue the larger to the front of the card and the smaller to the right-hand side of the inside of the card.

The seagull was stamped in Pebbled Path ink onto the die cut Basic White square. I added the ‘sand’ in Smoky Slate ink. The pouch of chips and the birds in flight were stamped in the same Pebbled Path ink.

The whole piece was then glued to the larger Pool Party panel before adding the piece to the card front on Dimensionals.
