Stamping with Friends Blog Hop – 1
Hello and welcome to the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop where we are CASing the catalogue. The card I have chosen to Case – copy and selectively edit, is on page 52 of the January to April 2025 Mini Catalogue and features the For the Books stamp set. I have changed the colours and added a matting layer to my card.
Colours used in this card are:
To recreate the for the books card, you will need:
Pebbled Path card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Lemon Lolly card – 5½” by 3¾”
Basic White card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Pebbled Path card – 5⅜” by ¼”
Balmy Blue card – 2¼” by ⅝”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Using a T ruler, I lightly drew 2 straight lines onto the 5⅜” by 3⅝” piece of Basic White card to help me line up the books.

The books were then stamped using Pebbled Path ink.

I used the following Subtle family Blends to colour in the books -Bubble Bath, Petal Pink, Lemon Lolly, Pool Party and Balmy Blue. I used only the light pen in each colour.

I erased the pencil lines and added the strips of Pebbled Path card to form the shelves.
A Balmy Blue Baker’s Twine bow was added to the top shelf with a Mini Glue Dot.

The sentiment, from the Hugs for Love stamp set was stamped onto the piece of Balmy Blue card using Pebbled Path ink. I flagged the end and added it to the card front on Dimensionals over the knot of the bow.

A scattering of Rainbow Dots finished the card.
