Hello and welcome to the Crafty Challenge Blog Hop where we are sharing projects designed around a sketch. I have used the gorgeous Daffodil Daydream stamp set to make a pretty Easter card.
The colours used in this card are:
To recreate the thanks a bunch card, you will need:
Thick Basic White card base – 8” by 8” – scored at 4⅛”
Dandy Designs dsp – 7¾” by 3¾”
Daffodil Delight card – 6” by 2⅝” – all 4 corners rounded
Basic White card – 5⅞” by 2½” – all 4 corners rounded
Basic Black card – 2½” by 2
I wrapped a length of White Crinkled Seam Binding around the piece of Dandy Designs designer series paper, securing it on the back with Sellotape. The whole panel was then glued to the Thick Basic White card base.
The bunch of daffodils was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto the panel of Basic White card. I also stamped the border image, twice along the bottom.
The flowers were coloured in using the following Blends Pens – So Saffron, Daffodil Delight and Granny Apple Green. I used the light Daffodil Delight and light Granny Apple Green Blends to add some colour to the border.
The sentiment was stamped in Versamark ink onto the piece of Basic Black card, covered it with White Embossing Powder and Heat set it. It was added to the decorated panel with liquid glue.
A ribbon bow and a trio of gold Festive Pearls completed the card. I hope you like it.
Please hop on to share the projects designed by my stamping friends.
