Hello and welcome to the Technique Tuesday Blog Hop where we are using Stampin’ Write Markers to make our project. I have used a pretty new stamp set called Corner In Bloom to make my card.
Colours used in this card are:
To recreate the corner in bloom card, you will need:
Pretty in Pink card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic Gray card – 5⅝” by 3⅞”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾”
Basic Gray card – 4” by 3⅜” – Rounded upper left and lower right corners
Basic White card – 3⅞” by 3½”– Rounded upper left and lower right corners
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
The 5½” by 3¾” layer of Basic White card was embossed using the Distressed Tile Embossing Folder before being glued to the larger Basic Gray panel. I wrapped a piece of Fresh Freesia Seam Binding Ribbon around the panel before gluing it to the Pretty in Pink card base.

The floral corner image was stamped twice onto the 3⅞” by 3½” piece of Basic White card using Basic Gray ink. The sentiment from the Birthday Celebrations stamp set was stamped in Pebbled Path ink.

I coloured the floral images using the following Stampin’ Write Markers – Pretty In Pink, Fresh Freesia and Granny Apple Green.

The coloured panel was glued to the Basic Gray panel and the whole piece was mounted onto the card base, straddling the ribbon, on Dimensionals.

A ribbon bow and a trio of Purple Adhesive backed Sequins completed the card.

Such a pretty card. I love how the smaller piece has your signature rounded corners.
I am so happy you like the card Lorraine and as you know I do love a rounded corner x
The combination of the floral design and the ribbon details is beautiful!

I love this card, especially the rounded corners! Could you tell what you used to round them to that degree? It looks like more than just a small corner rounder. TIA
Glad you liked the card Joyce, I used a old Stampin’ Up! trio corner punch, I do love a rounded corner x
Such a stunning way to layer the stamps and colors! The Fresh Freesia ribbon adds the perfect pop, and I love how the floral corner is framed with that embossed background—it really makes the flowers stand out.
Thank you so much for your kind comment x
The floral corner stamp set really pops with the use of your color choices. That Fresh Freesia ribbon wrapping around the layers is such a beautiful touch—such a great way to bring all the elements together!
