Coffee with Friends card – Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop where we are creating projects inspired by a colour challenge. I have used the sweet Coffee With Friends stamp set to make my card.

Colours in this card are:

To recreate the coffee with friends card, you will need:

Real Red card base – – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Early Espresso card – 5⅛” by 3⅜”
Basic White card – 5” by 3¼”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾”
Early Espresso card – 2” by ¾”
Basic White card – 2¼” by 1″

The image was stamped in Early Espresso ink onto the 5” by 3¼” piece of Basic White card.

Using the following Blends I coloured the image in – Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Shaded Spruce & Balmy Blue. Snuck a little Ivory in to colour the skin.

The sentiment was stamped in Early Espresso ink onto the panel but I stamped it crooked……..errgh, so annoying.

I adhered the panel to the large layer of Early Espresso card and then to the Real Red card front.

So, I stamped it again on the small panel of Basic White and die cut it using the Perennial Postage Dies. I matted the sentiment onto the small piece of Early Espresso card and added it to the card front on Dimensionals.

A trio of Adhesive-backed Shiny Sequins completed the card.
