Hello and welcome to the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop where we are sharing projects made using product from the new 2023 – 2024 Annual Catalogue. I have chosen to use the lovely Earthen Textures stamp set to make my card.

Smoky Slate card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Berry Burst card – 5⅛” by 3⅜”

Boho Blue card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Wild Wheat card – 5” by 3½”
Basic White card – 4¼” by 2½”

www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – Here is a pretty ornamental pot full of grasses card made using the Earthen Textures stamp set

I stamped the spray of grasses onto the white label in Wild Wheat ink. The pot was stamped onto scrap Basic White card in Boho Blue ink and fussy cut using sharp Scissors – yes I know there are dies, and I do have them but I had the scissors out before I remembered! The pot was added over the grasses on Dimensionals.

The decorated label was laid onto the Wild Wheat label and I decided I didn’t like the wide border, so I got out my trimmer and trimmed off an ⅛” off all sides, much better. The two labels were then glued together with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive and added to the card front using the same glue.

Hues of Happiness dsp to die cut flowers & leaves.

Using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive, I glued the Hues of Happiness dsp panel to the layer of Flirty Flaming card. This layer was then glued to the Thick Basic White card base using the same liquid glue.

I die cut the note book edge from the small panel of Basic White card using my Mini Cut & Emboss Machine and the Blossoming Happiness Dies.

The flowers were die cut from the hues of Happiness dsp, curved using a bone Folder and added to the card front on Dimensional. The die cut leaves were shaped in the same way and tucked under the flowers with a dab of liquid glue to secure them.

I used a Flirty Flamingo Blends Pen to colour in a trio of Basic Pearls and added them to finish the card.
