Stitched Leaves – Inspire. Create Challenge #80

Thank you for joining me for the Inspire Create Challenge #80 where we have a sketch challenge to follow. I have chosen to use the gorgeous Stitched Leaves dies to make my card.

To recreate the Stitched Leaves card, you will need:

Merry Merlot card base –- 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper left corner
Terracotta Tile – 4¼” by 3¼” – rounded upper left corner
Whisper White – 4⅛” by 3⅛” – rounded upper left corner
Whisper White 5⅜” by 3⅝” – rounded upper left corner for the inside
Scrap Calypso Coral. Just Jade, Merry Merlot and Whisper White

I die cut lots of the small heart shaped leaves from scrap Whisper White card and adhered them randomly all over the smaller Whisper White panel using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. I trimmed all the overhanging pieces off.

Welcome to this months Joy of Sets Blog Hop where our theme is ‘Harvest Time’. If you have hopped on from Fiona Whitehead’s blog – welcome. I have used the sweet Turnovers Stamp set to create a sweet Autumnal pumpkin themed thank you card. This is a reversible set where you use both sides of the same – the front is the outline and the back is the filler.

To recreate the Autumnal Pumpkin card you will need:

Soft Sea Foam card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – Rounded upper left corner
Pumpkin Pie – 3 ¾” by 2 ¾” – Rounded upper left corner
Whisper White – 3 ½” by 2 ½” – Rounded upper left corner
Whisper White – 5⅜” by 3⅝” – Rounded upper left corner – for the inside

I began by randomly stamping both outline pumpkins onto the smaller Whisper White panels, one in Terracotta Tile and the other in Cajun Craze ink. I used a Garden Green Marker to ink up the pumpkin stem.

I adhered the largest layer to the front of the Flirty Flamingo card base with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. I added the largest Early Espresso layer with the same glue followed by the next stamped Whisper White panel and the final Early Espresso layer.

I stamped the sentiment from the ornate thanks stamp set in Early Espresso and Flirty Flamingo inks and cut it out using the Rectangle Stitched dies. This was added to the card front on Dimensionals.

Using the dark Flirty Flamingo Blends Marker I coloured in a trio of basic Rhinestones and added them to complete the card.

I hope you like it.
