A pretty coneflower thank you card made using the Nature's Harvest stamp set by Stampin' Up!

Nature’s Harvest

I am loving the new Nature’s Harvest stamp set; those coneflowers are absolutely gorgeous and great for those of us who like to colour.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the Nature’s Harvest card, you will need:

Basic Gray card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Smoky Slate card – 5½” by 3¾”
Pansy Petals dsp – 4½” by 3¾”
Basic White card – 4½” by 3¾”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾”
Scrap Basic White

Using the speckled, grungy stamp from the Nature’s Harvest stamp set, I stamped in 2nd generation Smoky Slate ink onto the Smoky Slate panel, concentrating on the edges of the panel as the centre will be hidden. The panel was then adhered to the Basic Gray card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

The image was coloured using the following Blends Alcohol Markers – Smoky Slate, Calypso Coral and Petal Pink.

I inked up the long image with Poppy Parade ink and stamped it across the small panel of Basic White. I repeated this until the whole panel was covered. I love the way the image interlinked so easily. I used liquid adhesive to glue the stamped panel to the Poppy Parade panel. The panel was then added to the Smoky Slate card base

Succulents in a Pot

Here is a sweet thank you card featuring succulents in a pot made using the Simply Succulents stamp set and the co-ordinating Potted Succulent Dies.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the Succulents in a Pot card, you will need:

Pool Party card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Basic White – 3½” by 3½”
Rich Razzleberry – 4” by 1” x 2
Basic White – 5½” by 3¾” x 2
Scrap Basic White, Old Olive, Smoky Slate and Rich Razzleberry

I die cut the lovely large intricate die from the Potted Succulent Dies using one of the larger Basic White panels. This was used as a stencil to add colour (Pool Party) with a Blending Brush to the Pool Party card Base. I used the same stencil and ink to add colour to the small Basic White layer.
