I started with a scarp piece of Whisper White cardstock. I inked up the stunning flower image with Poppy Parade ink and before stamping it down I added Cherry Cobbler ink in the centre and around the edges of the flower using a Sponge Dauber. This is a distINKtive syle stamp so looks very 3 dimensional when stamped and the added darker shade of red really enhances this look. I die cut the image using my Big Shot and the co-ordinating Four Seasons Framelit dies.

I placed my die cut flower onto a layer of Whisper White measuring 5⅛” by 3⅜”, inked up the larger leaf image with Mossy Meadow ink, moved the flower slightly and stamped the image down. I then stamped again without re-inking. I repeated this step on the other side of the flower. The smaller leaf image was then added in 1st and 2nd generation Sahara Sand ink. I then added the little clusters of tiny stars in 1st and 2nd generation Mint Macaron ink.

I wrapped a piece of retired Mossy Meadow Thick Baker’s Twine around the stamped layer and tied in a bow. I had planned to use the lovely Old Olive Linen Thread but couldn’t find it………..

I rounded the upper left corner of the stamped layer and a layer of Poppy Parade cardstock measuring 5⅜” by 3⅝” using the Detailed Trio Punch and adhered the two layers together with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. I used the same adhesive to add this panel to a Mossy Meadow card base with a rounded upper left corner. The die cut flower was then added over the leaves with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The sentiment from the Needle and Thread stamp set was stamped in Mossy Meadow ink. I stamped the flower and the larger leaf onto a panel of Whisper White (with a rounded upper left corner) and added this to the inside of the card. The same images were then stamped on a Whisper White Envelope.

I love this stamp set, the images are absolutely stunning……don’t miss out.

Gorgeous froggie birthday card made using the So Hoppy Together Sale-a-Bration stamp set

So Hoppy Together

Today I have had fun playing with the sweet new Sale-a-Bration stamp set called So Hoppy Together. This is gorgeous stamp set is one of the free choices available with a £45 order and there are so many lovely things on offer this year.

Making the card

I started by stamping the cute little frog in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a 3” by 3” piece of Whisper White cardstock and die cut it using the Stitched Shapes Framelit dies. Whilst I had the Big Shot out I also cut a slightly larger scalloped circle die from Daffodil Delight cardstock.

I coloured in my frog using the Shaded Spruce Combo, Daffodil Delight Combo & Light Petal Pink Blends Pens. I stamped a few little flies at the top of the circle and added some googly eyes to the frog.

I chose a piece of Garden Impressions dsp, cut it at 5⅞” by 4⅛” and cut it on the diagonal. I added half of the dsp to a Thick Whisper White card base using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. I added a ¼” strip of Pacific Point cardstock to the top of the dsp using the same glue.

The sentiment from the Family & Friends stamp set was stamped along the top of the Pacific Point cardstock in Pacific Point ink and added the circle topper on Stampin’ Dimensionals.

These little frogs are so adorable, I think this is going to be a really popular set.
