The smaller flowers were inked with Gray Granite ink and the centres coloured with Basic Gray ink. Soft Sea Foam ink was then used for the base colour of the leaves. The more detailed layer was added to the leaves using the same ink. I fussy cut the roses using sharp scissors.

Left over pieces from the Layers of Beauty stamp set, Layers of Beauty dies and Layers of Beauty stencils from Stampin' Up! used for a beautiful sympathy card

www.crafty-rootes.com – A beautiful sympathy card made using left over pieces from the Layers of Beauty stamp set, Layers of Beauty dies and Layers of Beauty stencils

The sentiment, from the Something Fancy stamp set, was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto the die cut label – cut using the Nested Essentials Dies. I added the small flowers on either side and coloured them in with Soft Sea Foam and Gray Granite Blends. This was then added to the card front on Dimensionals and tucked the flowers underneath.

A scattering of Basic Gray and Smoky Slate Pearls finished the card
