The new Forever Blossoms stamp set by Stampin' Up! makes a stunning card

Forever Blossoms – Sneak Peak

To day I am sharing a sneak peek of a gorgeous new stamp set called Forever Blossoms which will be available from the 3rd January 2020.

To recreate the Forever Blossoms card you will need:

So Saffron card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper left corner
Old Olive 5 ½” by 3 ¾” – rounded upper left corner
Whisper White 5 ¼” by 3 ½” – rounded upper left corner
Whisper White – 5⅜” by 3⅝” – rounded upper left corner – for the inside
Scrap Old Olive & Whisper White

I inked up the gorgeous, large blossom image with Momento Tuxedo Black ink and stamped it twice on the smaller Whisper White panel.

The image was coloured in using the following Blends Markers – open flowers in dark Daffodil Delight and light So Saffron. Buds using dark Daffodil Delight and dark So Saffron. The leaves and stems were coloured in using the Old Olive Combo. I added the dots around the flower centres with the dark Basic Black marker.

I wrapped a strip of the lovely Gold Shimmer Ribbon around the panel adhering it on the back with Sellotape. The panel was then added to the Old Olive panel with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

The sentiment from the Peaceful Moments stamp set was stamped in Momento Tuxedo Black ink onto scrap Whisper White cardstock and die cut using the Stitched Nested Dies. I also die cut a slightly larger label from Old Olive cardstock using the same dies.

I glued the two labels together using the Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive and trimmed the label down using my trimmer.

The label was added over the ribbon using Dimensionals and a bow added to the side. To add a bit of bling I added a trio of Gold Metallic Pearls.

A pretty floral card made using the Soft Spring stamp set

Soft Spring Floral Card

Earlier this month I Took part in the Stamp ‘n Hop Blog Hop where we were challenged to make a card using the following colours – Blueberry Bushel, Lovely Lipstick, Granny Apple Green and Silver. I loved this colour combo so much I thought I would use it again for thoday’s card using the Soft Spring stamp set.

To Recreate the Soft Spring card you will need:

Blueberry Bushel card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper right corner
Whisper White cardstock – 5⅜” by 3⅝” x 2 – rounded upper right corner
Silver Foil – 4 ¼” by 3¼” – rounded upper right corner
Whisper White cardstock 4” by 3” – rounded upper right corner
Scrap Blueberry Bushel for the sentiment

I ran one of the larger Whisper White panels through my Big Shot with the Mosiac Embossing Folder. I wrapped a length of ⅛” Lovely Lipstick Grosgrain ribbon around the panel securing it on the back with Sellotape.

I stamped the delphinium like flowers onto the small panel of Whisper White using the Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

The leaves were infilled using the Granny apple Green ink and the solid leaf stamp. The bottom of the flowers were inked up using the Blueberry Bushel ink pad and the topof the flowers using the Lovely Lipstick ink pad. You could also do this using Stampin’ Write Markers.

The Embossing buddy was then swiped over the stamped panel to remove static and the dragonfly stamped using Versamark ink. I covered the image with Silver Embossing Powder and hear set it usig my Heat Tool.

The stamped piece was then mounted onto the Silver Foil layer using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive and the whole panel was added to the card front on Dimensionals.

The sentiment was stamped in Versamark ink onto a scrap of Blueberry Bushel, covered with the Silver Embossing Powder and heat set as before.

I added a bow in the same ribbon and some Metallic Pearls in silver to complete the card front.

I stamped the dragonflies onto the remaining Whisper White panel and glued it to the inside of the card. The dragonflies were then stamped in the same ink onto a Whisper White envelope.

Such a soft and pretty card, love the 2 tone flowers. I hope you like it.
