The Lovely You stamp set by Stampin' Up! used to make a pretty floral card for the Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop

Lovely You card for the Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop where we have a picture to work from. I have chosen to use the colours of the picture for my lovely you card.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the lovely you card, you will need:

Pear Pizzazz card base – 8¼” by 5⅝” scored at 4⅛”
Pacific Point card – 5¼” by 3½”
Basic White card – 5⅛” by 3⅜”
Basic White card – 3” by 3”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾”
Scrap Pacific Point

I die cut a stitched circle using the Stylish Shapes Dies, placed it onto the 5⅛” by 3⅜” panel of Basic White and drew around it with a pencil. This helped me to plan where to stamp my images.

Finally, I added the single flower in 1st & 2nd generation Pacific Point ink. I rubbed the pencil line out with a rubber. The whole panel was added to the Pacific Point panel with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive and I used the same glue to adhere the panel to the Pear Pizzazz card front.

Not a colour combo I would have chosen but I really like how the card has turned out. I hope you like it.

Bottled Flowers for the Kylie Bertucci Demo Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Kylie Bertucci Blog Hop where we are sharing cards made for our lovely customers. My bottled flowers card is made using the gorgeous new Bottled Happiness stamp set.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the bottled happiness card, you will need:

Blackberry Bliss card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛”
Old Olive card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Basic White care – 5 ¼” by 3 ½”
Old Olive card – 3⅜” by 1 ¾”
Basic White card – 5 ½” by 3 ¾”

Using the ink to stamp technique I added Blackberry Bliss using my Stampin’ Write to the larger flowers. I used my Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Write Marker to colour in the other flowers. I huffed on the stamp to re-moisten the ink and stamped the image on the smaller Basic White panel. I repeated the whole thing again.

The Cactus Cuties stamp set used to make a pretty card for the Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop

Cute Cacti for the Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop where we have a colour challenge and I have used the cute cacti stamp set. The colours we have been given are:

I added Basic White to the mix

To recreate the cute cacti card, you will need:

Rich Razzleberry card base – 8¼” by 5⅝” scored at 4⅛” – Rounded upper right corner
Blushing Bride card – 5⅛” by 3⅝” – Rounded upper right corner
Basic White card – 5” by 3½” – Rounded upper right corner
Hand Penned dsp – 3 ½” by ½”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – Rounded upper right corner – for the inside
Scrap Basic White card

Using a Blending Brush, I applied Blushing Bride ink to the smaller Basic White panel. I added the strip of Hand Penned dsp towards the bottom of this panel. The panel was then glued to the Blushing Bride layer and then to the Rich Razzleberry card front.

I stamped the 2 pots on scrap Basic White card, one in Misty Moonlight and the other in Coastal Cabana ink.

The cacti were stamped on the same scrap card in 1st and 2nd generation Old Olive ink and the flowers in both Rich Razzleberry and Blushing Bride. All the images were fussy cut using sharp scissors.

All the pieces were adhered together using Multicoloured Liquid Adhesive. They were then added to the card front on Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment in Rich Razzleberry ink.

To complete the card, I added a white Baker’s Twine Bow and a trio of Pastel Pearls.
