Hello and welcome to the Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop where we have a picture to work from. I have chosen to use the colours of the picture for my lovely you card.
Colours used in this project are:
To recreate the lovely you card, you will need:
Pear Pizzazz card base – 8¼” by 5⅝” scored at 4⅛”
Pacific Point card – 5¼” by 3½”
Basic White card – 5⅛” by 3⅜”
Basic White card – 3” by 3”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾”
Scrap Pacific Point
I die cut a stitched circle using the Stylish Shapes Dies, placed it onto the 5⅛” by 3⅜” panel of Basic White and drew around it with a pencil. This helped me to plan where to stamp my images.
The bushy leaves were stamped in Soft Succulent around the pencilled circle. I added the trio of leaves in Pear Pizzazz ink.
Next, I inked up the flower and stem using Pacific Point for the flower and Cajun Craze for the stem and leaves. These were added around the circle. Next, I added the thin sprig in Evening Evergreen ink.
Finally, I added the single flower in 1st & 2nd generation Pacific Point ink. I rubbed the pencil line out with a rubber. The whole panel was added to the Pacific Point panel with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive and I used the same glue to adhere the panel to the Pear Pizzazz card front.
The sentiment from the Charming Sentiments stamp set was stamped in Cajun Craze ink onto the die cut stitched circle. One side of the circle was trimmed down and the circle added on Dimensionals.
A small butterfly was die cut from scrap Pacific Point card using the Daffodil Dies. The butterfly was added to the card front along with a trio of Basic Rhinestones to complete the card.
Not a colour combo I would have chosen but I really like how the card has turned out. I hope you like it.
